We thank God for the great folks who came to work in Lakeshore over the month of November. I really do wish I had time to trumpet detailed gratitude for every task each of these teams accomplished – but I’m only one person and you have blessed us beyond my capacity to return appropriate and fitting appreciation. This month volunteers poured concrete, set pilings, framed a house, ran plumbing and electrical, installed air conditioners, cut down trees, hung siding, cooked sumptuous meals, cleaned the bathrooms and the camp site, stocked shelves, laid flooring, installed insulation, hung sheet rock, painted, removed storm debris, demolished old structures to make room for new homes, built sheds, moved furniture, delivered materials, brought supplies, prayed for us, cried with us, and a thousand other things. Please accept a deep heart felt thank-you on behalf of everyone in our community touched by your dedication and service.
