If These Flowers Could Talk

Flowers

Random flowers on a vacant lot give a sobering reminder that a family home once thrived here. The bulbs have apparently sat dormant for the past six years, surviving the salt water of Katrina and the demolition bulldozers that cleared the site of debris. Now waking from their slumber the lilies stand alone among weeds. I plan to dig them up and transplant them into pots where the bulbs can multiply, bringing life and hope to a new home.
